Contracts Administrator, Sign-on Bonus!

Suitland, MD
StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a full-time Contracts Administrator to support our recently awarded 5-year SAP program with the Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group (NCWDG) in Suitland.  The Contracts Administrator's essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Job Duties
  • Assist the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and Assistant Program Manager (APM) with an ACAT II program level contract.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, timely submission, and compliance for all deliverables via all NCWDG contracts and work actions
  • Track, distribute, and maintain vendor contract data requirement lists (CDRLs)
  • Facilitate CDRL comment adjudication and resolution between Government and vendors
  • Prepare, route, and track funding packages to ensure proper resources are available for program success.
  • Coordinate the development and submission of required project documentation to the contracts team
  • Generate and maintain contract modifications with established PMO/PCO procedures
  • Develop spend plans and coordinate with the financial team for inclusion in the fiscal year budget plans
  • Estimate cost requirements, in support of program milestones, justify costs and manpower requirements, explain delays in program spending, modify program and budget submittals based on delays, and support budget processes/budget reviews as required
  • Attend budget related meetings and conferences, as required
  • Prepare, analyze, and update budgetary documentation in support of the various programs and Resource Management Officer (RMO)
  • Prepare required contract documents to include statements of work, procurement initiation documents, independent government cost estimates, business plans, and funding memos.
  • Generate and review funding documents and update appropriate databases as required 
Experience Requirements:
  • Required – at least 8 years of experience in contracts support for research and development acquisition
  • Preferred: Contract experience with large R&D acquisition programs, with a focus on electronic warfare, radar, and information warfare preferred;
  • Experience with generating funding documents and financial management systems
  • ERP Experience
  • Experience with contract negotiations and funding
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Possess a team-oriented personality
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook, SharePoint knowledge
  • Proficient level knowledge of Federal and DoD acquisition regulations to include FAR, DFAR, and DoD 5000.02;
  • Possess a high level of self-motivation (able to carry out tasks without continuous supervision)
Education Requirements:
  • BS or BA degree. Allowable substitution: 5 years of relevant work experience
Training/Certifications:
  • Training/Certifications: DAU Contracting Level 1; DAU Business-FM Level 1; or  equivalent alternative qualifications.
  • Preferred: DAU Contracting Level 2 or Level 3 (preferred with R&D or systems acquisition focus) and DAU Business-FM Level 2 or 3.
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • TS/SCI, Willing to take Polygraph
